How are we at the end February already it seems like no time since i did my January favourites blog post? I think I am going to try and do a favourites post every month. Its not every month that i have new purchases but it my be that i have enjoyed using some particular things that I already had or I have been going to somewhere that I particularly enjoyed I may even share my favourite accounts or play lists. This month we have had Valentines Day and i had an event to go to also so i have a few new things in my favourites. Common theme seems to be books relating to blogging and Instagram.
Hashtag authentic book This is definitely one of my favourite things this month. I had pre ordered this book and couldnt wait for its arrival. So far from what i have read it is amazing, the imagery is simple and stunning. I love how there is little exercises throughout it. I might do a full book review on it when i have read it all but so far i am really enjoying reading and learning from it. I have followed Sara Tasker on Instagram for a while now and love how she shares her love of instagram with other to help the grow in their own way. You can follow Sara on Instagram @me_and_orla where you can find links to her blog also or you can follow her podcast hashtag authentic here.
Capture your style For Valentines Day David bought me two books that i had on my Amazon wish list. So far i have only read one ‘Capture Your Style’ which again is really interesting with lots of information to learn from. Its a lovely coffee table book or dressing table book.
Blogsphere magazine This again is another great source of information or anyone with an interest in blogging growing their instagram. Ii found some great accounts from it and read some great articles. This issue had a great piece on Alfie Deynes who featured on the cover and it also covered some points regarding the improved guidelines from the ASA and the CMA relating to #AD and #GIFTED. At £12 it is quite expensive for a magazine but its definitely worth it as its more like a book you can go back on over and over again.
Brogues I was looking for something to wear to the Ni blogger brunch which i attended this month in Grand Central Hotel in Belfast, and spotted these shoes. They are almost identical style and colour t o a pair i have from a local boutique at a fraction of the price. They cost £12 from Primark and also came in a lovely rose gold colour.
Coast and Co. bodymist and handcream I got this set of bodymist and handcream gifted to me in a goodie bag at the NI Blogger Brunch. Bellamia boutique attended the brunch and gave everyone a personalised goodie bag. i have never heard of Bellamia boutique or Coast and Co but i was really impressed by them. Coast and Co reminds me of a body spray i used to use when i was younger. It is made in Northern Ireland and comes in soap, hand and body wash and Eau de Parfum sets also. The set costs £13 but is currently on sale for £10.40
Thanks for reading and please do follow along with my blog and instagram @lauras_little_loves I would love to hear what your favourite things are this month.
